By car (from the motorway)

Leave the motorway at Genova Ovest

Get off to the right, onto the exit ramp towards “Area Servizio – Polizia Stradale – Autostrade s.p.a direzione I° tronco”

At the traffic lights, turn left towards "Stazione Principe - Centro", taking Via Cantore

At the traffic lights at the bottom of Via Cantore, go left again, always in the direction of "Stazione Principe - Centro", taking Via Milano

At the next traffic lights go straight (the road changes name to Via Bruno Buozzi)

Get down the road Via Bruno Buozzi, keeping to the left, and before the curve, at the traffic lights, take the road up on the left (Via San Benedetto)

On top of Via San Benedetto, at the roundabout, go straight uphill to Stazione Principe (Via Andrea Doria)

After the train station, continue to climb towards "Circonvallazione a Monte" (Salita della Provvidenza)

Continue to climb along the main road, which adjacent to each bend will change its name (via Sant'Ugo, via Almeria, Corso Ugo Bassi), until reaching the traffic light

At the traffic light, turn right to stay on Corso Ugo Bassi, and after 50 meters take the road up on the left (Via Paleocapa), in the direction of "Santuario N.S. di Loreto "(yellow road sign)

At the stop, go straight along Via Paleocapa for another 500 meters, then after the bend, turn right towards "Ostello della Gioventù - Righi" (Via Giovanni Carbone) and continue to climb

In Via Giovanni Carbone, reached the top of the straight, turn right (Via Paolo Della Cella) just before the hairpin bend

Continue until the end of the straight, where you will have to park your car. At that point (Piazza San Barnaba) the road ends and you need to get down to the paved pedestrian street. After 30 meters, the second building on the right is the number 38, where you will find a green gate to welcome you to Laxmi Guesthouse B&B.

In this area there are always convenient free parking.

By public lift & bus (from the train station)

Take via Balbi, leaving Principe station behind you.

At the beginning of via Balbi, on the corner you will find Pescetto pharmacy; on your left, there is a small square, leading to the entrance to the public lift to Castello De Albertis.

Take the funicular/lift: it will take you to corso Firenze. There, on your right, you will find the bus stop of numbers 39 and 40. Both routes go in the right direction: ask the driver for the bus stop in via Carbone.

Get off of the bus in via Carbone, and walk along the road: at the end of the road, turn left in via Paolo della Cella, then go ahead up to piazza San Barnaba.

From piazza San Barnaba, walk down Salita san Barnaba (pedestrian access only), then walk along the walls of the Barnabites' monastery. After 200 metres, stop at the second building on your right: a green gate will welcome you to Laxmi Guesthouse b&b.

By bus (from the train station)

Take via Balbi, leaving Genova Piazza Principe station behind you.

At the beginning of via Balbi, on the corner you will find Pescetto pharmacy: just in front, there is the bus stop of number 35.

Ask the driver for the bus stop in via Spinola, and alight there. At this bus stop, you can take either the bus number 39 or 40.

Once you are aboard, ask the driver for the stop in via Carbone.

Get off of the bus in via Carbone, and walk along the road: at the end of the road, turn left in via Paolo della Cella, then go ahead up to piazza San Barnaba.

From piazza San Barnaba, and walk down Salita san Barnaba (pedestrian access only), then walk along the walls of the Barnabites’ monastery. After 200 metres, stop at the second building on your right: a green gate will welcome you to Laxmi Guesthouse b&b.
